Type specimen: Its type locality is Kamura, Takachiho-cho, Miyazaki Prefecture, which is in a Smithian marine limestone in the Kamura Formation of Japan
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Kamura, Takachiho-cho, Miyazaki Prefecture
