Type specimen: UCMP 38668, a skull (nearly perfect cranium with complete upper dentition). Its type locality is Brady Pocket, which is in a Clarendonian terrestrial horizon in the Truckee Formation of Nevada.

Ecology: ground dwelling browser-browser

Distribution: found only at Brady Pocket
