Sister taxa: Anemorhysis natronensis, Anemorhysis pattersoni, Anemorhysis savagei, Anemorhysis sublettensis, Uintalacus nettingi, Tetonoides musculus, Tetonoides pearcei

Type specimen: USGS 6554, a mandible (fragment of right ramus with p3-m2 and root of i1). Its type locality is Hoover Renner Reservoir Bonanza, which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial horizon in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: arboreal insectivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (4: Wyoming collections)

Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
