Sister taxa: Magnoavipes caneeri, Magnoavipes denaliensis, Magnoavipes lowei

Type specimen: TGUSE-DT 1013, a footprint. Its type locality is Shaojian tracksite, which is in a Hauterivian/Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Fengjiashan Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Shaojian tracksite
