Type specimen: UALVP 8744, a mandible (incomplete left dentary containing p4, m1-2, and alveoli for i1-2 (both incomplete), c1, and p3). Its type locality is Roche Percée, which is in a Ti4 alluvial fan sandstone/siltstone in the Ravenscrag Formation of Canada.

Ecology: arboreal herbivore

Distribution:

• Paleocene of Canada (2: Alberta, Saskatchewan collections), United States (1: Wyoming)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
