Type specimen: UPV/EHU-Z4.1092, a partial skull (cranium fragment with right and left C–P2–P3–P4–M1–M2–(M3) series. Fragmented right P2 and P4, and left P2). Its type locality is Zambrana, which is in a MP 18 lacustrine marl/limestone in Spain.
Ecology: ground dwelling frugivore-folivore
Distribution: found only at Zambrana
