Type specimen: BSIP 1505, a wood (wood). Its type locality is Mohgaon, Nainpur, which is in a Paleogene fluvial horizon in the Deccan Intertrappean Formation of India.
Ecology: "photoautotroph"
Distribution: found only at Mohgaon, Nainpur
