Type specimen: BSIP 35368, a wood (wood). Its type locality is Ghughua, Shahpura, which is in a Paleogene fluvial horizon in the Deccan Intertrappean Formation of India.
Ecology: "photoautotroph"
Distribution: found only at Ghughua, Shahpura
