Sister taxa: Curriella newlandensis, Curriella tuberculifrons

Type specimen: UA 7872, a cephalon/head. Its type locality is Fauna a, Section AV1, Whittaker Fm., Mackenzie Mts., which is in an Aeronian deep subtidal shelf limestone/shale in the Whittaker Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Silurian of Canada (2: Northwest Territories collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
