Type specimen: OSU 22805, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Lodi, Medina County, which is in a Kinderhookian carbonate limestone in the Cuyahoga Formation of Ohio.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at Lodi, Medina County
