Type specimen: IRSNB a12875, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Cyphaspis horizon, Mrakib, which is in a Givetian carbonate limestone in the Bou-Dib Formation of Morocco.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at Cyphaspis horizon, Mrakib
