Type specimen: IRSNB a13009, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is BD5, which is in an Eifelian shallow subtidal wackestone/mudstone in the El Otfal Formation of Morocco.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at BD5
