Type specimen: MPEF‐Pb 10862, a seed repro (Ovuliferous complex). Its type locality is Cañadón del Loro , which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial siltstone in the Lefipan Formation of Argentina.

Distribution: found only at Cañadón del Loro
