Belongs to Sphaerotholus according to D. C. Woodruff et al. 2023
Sister taxa: Sphaerotholus buchholtzae, Sphaerotholus edmontonensis, Sphaerotholus goodwini, Sphaerotholus lyonsi
Type specimen: ROM 53583, a partial skull ( nearly complete and well-preserved isolated left squamosal ). Its type locality is 45 km southwest of Jordan (NCD01), which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Hell Creek Formation of Montana.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at 45 km southwest of Jordan (NCD01)
