Type specimen: DCT-CC-1, a set of vertebrae. Its type locality is Beiraterra Quarry of Casais dos Carecos, which is in a Cenomanian coastal carbonate in the Tentúgal Formation of Portugal.

Distribution: found only at Beiraterra Quarry of Casais dos Carecos
