Sister taxa: Houseops canningensis, Houseops miserrimus, Houseops nalivkini, Houseops ocellatus
Type specimen: MUST-RCSR-TRI.-0009. Its type locality is HS-F-10, which is in a Famennian marine shale in the Samnuuruul Formation of Mongolia.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at HS-F-10
