Belongs to Occitanella according to R. Feist and G. Klapper 2022
Sister taxa: Occitanella hexagonalis, Occitanella linguiformis
Type specimen: UM-IP 910. Its type locality is CPS-E section. Col du Puech de la Suque, which is in a Frasnian carbonate limestone in the Coumiac Formation of France.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at CPS-E section. Col du Puech de la Suque
