Type specimen: MLP-Pv 91-IV-25–212, a partial skeleton (almost complete skull and jaw, and 45% of the postcranial elements). Its type locality is Costa Bonita, which is in a Pleistocene terrestrial horizon in Argentina.

Ecology: fossorial herbivore

Distribution:
