Type specimen: PU 21234, a mandible (left mandible with I1 P3-4 P1-3). Its type locality is Long Draw Quarry, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in Montana.
Ecology: arboreal herbivore
Distribution:
• Paleocene of Canada (4: Alberta, Saskatchewan collections), United States (24: California, Montana, North Dakota, Wyoming)
Total: 28 collections each including a single occurrence
