Type specimen: AMNH 35987, a mandible (right mandible with m2). Its type locality is Harbicht Hill, which is in a Puercan floodplain horizon in the Hell Creek Formation of Montana.
Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore
Distribution:
• Paleocene of United States (18: Montana, Wyoming collections)
• Cretaceous of United States (1: Montana)
