Sister taxa: Maldybulakia angusi, Maldybulakia malcolmi
Type specimen: BGEG-SE-06a–b. Its type locality is 10 km west of Hoboksar. Bed 16, which is in a Pridoli lacustrine siltstone in the Xiemisitai Formation of China.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at 10 km west of Hoboksar. Bed 16
