Belongs to Halictus according to M. S. Engel 2024
Sister taxa: Halictus messinicus, Halictus petrefactus, Halictus ruissatelensis, Halictus savenyei, Halictus schemppi
Type specimen: ETH I.714, an exoskeleton (body). Its type locality is Oeningen (Zurich collection), which is in a Sarmatian crater lake limestone in the Upper Freshwater-Molasse Formation of Germany.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Oeningen (Zurich collection)
