Type specimen: IGCU 7278, a tooth (left M1). Its type locality is Rancho El Ocote (Medial), which is in a Hemphillian channel claystone/sandstone in the Rancho Viejo Beds Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Rancho El Ocote (Medial)
