Parrisia neocesariensis
Taxonomy
Parrisia neocesariensis was named by Denton and O'Neill (1998). Its type specimen is NJSM 16609, a set of vertebrae (complete atlas), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ellisdale Site, which is in a Campanian estuary/bay sandstone in the Marshalltown Formation of New Jersey. It is the type species of Parrisia.
