Cascoplecia insolitis

Taxonomy
Cascoplecia insolitis was named by Poinar (2010). Its type specimen is OSU B-D-68, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin Amber (Poinar collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Cascoplecia.
