Hexerites primalis
Taxonomy
Hexerites primalis was named by Cockerell (1933). Its type specimen is University of Colorado Museum, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Green River near Rifle, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large horizon in the Green River Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Hexerites.
