Titanomyrma lubei
Taxonomy
Titanomyrma lubei was named by Archibald et al. (2011). Its type specimen is DMNH 9041, an exoskeleton (body in dorsal aspect, anterior portions of right forewing, very little of left), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is DMNS Locality 784, Farson Fish Beds, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine horizon in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.
