Karaurus sharovi

Taxonomy
Karaurus sharovi was named by Ivachnenko (1978). Its type specimen is PIN 2585/2, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Aulie, Mikhailovka, Karatau [PIN Loc. 2585], which is in an Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Karaurus.
