Taxonomy
Oioceros lishanensis was named by Lee and Wu (1978). Its type specimen is IVPP V.3210 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yingbeihoucun (locality 64007), Lengshuigou, Lantong, Shaanxi, which is in the Serravallian of horizon the Lengshuigou Formation China.
