Canaanimico amazonensis

Taxonomy
Canaanimico amazonensis was named by Marivaux et al. (2016). Its type specimen is MUSM-2499, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CTA-61, which is in an Oligocene channel conglomerate in the Chambira Formation of Peru. It is the type species of Canaanimico.
