Taxonomy
Tephrodytes brassicarvalis was named by Henrici (1994). Its type specimen is KU 19928, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cabbage Patch 10, which is in an Arikareean terrestrial horizon in the Renova Formation of Montana.
