Lontra weiri

Taxonomy
Lontra weiri was named by Prassack (2016). Its type specimen is IMNH 38647, a mandible (right dentary with c-m1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hagerman (HAFO Locality 068 = IMNH Locality 85005), which is in a Pliocene floodplain horizon in the Glenns Ferry Formation of Idaho.
