Lutraeximia trinacriae
Taxonomy
Nesolutra trinacriae was named by Burgio and Fiore (1988). Its type specimen is University of Palermo PS1 to PS25, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cozzo Schinaldo, which is in a Pleistocene cave horizon in Italy.
It was recombined as Lutra trinacriae by Willemsen (1992) and Willemsen (2006); it was recombined as Lutraeximia trinacriae by Cherin et al. (2016).
