Gerontodacus krzeminskii
Taxonomy
Protoculicoides krzeminskii was named by Choufani et al. (2015). Its type specimen is Azar 287A, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Lebanese amber, Mdeyrij-Hammana (LU collection), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon.
It was recombined as Archiaustroconops krzeminskii by Szadziewski et al. (2016), Szadziewski (2018); it was recombined as Gerontodacus krzeminskii by Borkent (2019), Borkent and Dominiak (2020).
