Gravicalymene vaccina was named by Holloway (1994) [Questionably assigned to genus by Holloway]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality PL1906, Poley Cow Fmn, Broken River Province, N Queensland, which is in a Telychian marine siltstone/mudstone in the Poley Cow Formation of Australia.
