Mammuthus weifangensis
Taxonomy
Archidiskodon weifangensis was named by Jin (1983). Its type specimen is IVPP V.6263 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wujiacun village, which is in a Pleistocene/Pleistocene lacustrine sandstone in China.
It was recombined as Mammuthus weifangensis by McKenna and Bell (1997).
