Taxonomy
Tracheliodes grimaldii was named by Melo and Rosa (2019). Its type specimen is AMNH PB-118, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (AMNH coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
