Taxonomy
Oioceros jiulongkouensis was named by Chen and Wu (1976) [The classification as Oioceros is not completely sure.]. Its type specimen is IVPP V4849 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jiulongkou, Ci Xian County, which is in a Miocene terrestrial claystone/sandstone in China.
