Taxonomy
Tremanotus cyclocostatus was named by Talent and Philip (1956). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MUGD 2279. Its type locality is Old Toongabbie Marble Quarry, Lower Quarry, Marble Creek, which is in a Siegen carbonate limestone in the Toongabble Limestone Formation of Australia.
