Leopardus vorohuensis
Taxonomy
Felis vorohuensis was named by Berta (1983). Its type specimen is MMP 1047, a partial skeleton, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is 15 km N Mar del Plata, which is in a Pliocene terrestrial horizon in the Vorohué Formation of Argentina.
It was recombined as Leopardus vorohuensis by Alroy (2007).
