Apidium phiomense

Taxonomy
Apidium phiomense was named by Osborn (1908). Its type specimen is Amer. Mus. No. 13370, a mandible (partial mandible with P4-M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Northwest of Quarry A, which is in a Rupelian terrestrial horizon in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.
