Biretia fayumensis
Taxonomy
Biretia fayumensis was named by Seiffert et al. (2005). Its type specimen is CGM 83658, a mandible (mandible with m2 and m3), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Birket Qarun 2, which is in a Priabonian channel sandstone in the Birket Qarun Formation of Egypt.
