Titanohyrax angustidens
Taxonomy
Titanohyrax angustidens was named by Rasmussen and Simons (1988). Its type specimen is CGM 42848, a mandible (partial left mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quarry V (Jebel Qatrani Formation), which is in a Rupelian fluvial sandstone/mudstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.
