Eosimias sinensis

Taxonomy
Eosimias sinensis was named by Beard et al. (1994). Its type specimen is IVPP V10591, a mandible (right mandibe preserving P4-M2 and roots or alveoli for C1, P2-3, and M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shanghuang Quarry, fissure D, which is in an Eocene fissure fill limestone in China.
