Anisodonta subovata
Taxonomy
Anisodonta subovata was named by Stilwell and Zinsmeister (1992) [DISTRIBUTION: Eocene; Seymour Island, Antarctica.]. Its type specimen is USNM 441623, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is La Meseta Fm Telm 7, which is in a Priabonian estuary/bay sandstone in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica.
