Tinaspis totoyaca
Taxonomy
Tinaspis totoyaca was named by Robison and Pantoja-Alor (1968). Its type specimen is USNM 158980, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM 16001c, Tinu Formation, Oaxaca, Mexico - Robison and Pantoja-Alor 1968, which is in the Tremadoc of limestone/shale the Tinu Formation Mexico. It is the type species of Tinaspis.
