Taxonomy
Eremiproetus agellus was named by Owens (1973) [Proetus sp. ind. a Warburg 1925 p. 180 pl. 5 f. 14, 17]. Its type specimen is PMO 55817, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is not a trace fossil.
