Palaeorallus troxelli
Taxonomy
Palaeorallus troxelli was named by Wetmore (1931). Its type specimen is UNSM No. 12042, a limb element (distal end of right tibio-tarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Palaeorallus troxelli Type Locality, which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial horizon in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming.
