Eosimias dawsonae
Taxonomy
Eosimias dawsonae was named by Beard and Wang (2004). Its type specimen is IVPP V11999, a mandible (left dentary fragment with p3-m1), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Heti Formation Locality 11-12, which is in a Sharamurunian floodplain siliciclastic in the Heti Formation of China.
