Taxonomy
Quercysorex ulmensis was named by Ziegler (1998). It is not extant. Its type specimen is SMNS 46337 A1, a mandible (dext. with p4-m2 and fragment of incisor). Its type locality is Herrlingen 8, which is in a MP 28 fissure fill limestone in Germany.
